1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

4 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Broccoli: In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for about 2-3 minutes until they are vibrant green and slightly tender. Drain and transfer to cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

      Prepare the Pie Crust: Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during baking.

        Whisk the Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes until well combined.

          Combine Ingredients: Gently fold in the blanched broccoli and shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.

            Fill the Crust: Pour the broccoli and cheese filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it out evenly.
