2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin fries

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Optional: 1 tablespoon brown sugar for a sweeter version

Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Prep the Sweet Potatoes: Rinse and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into even sticks, about ¼ to ½ inch thick for uniform cooking.

    Soak the Fries: For extra crispy fries, soak the cut sweet potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. After soaking, drain and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

      Season: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweet potato fries with olive oil, cinnamon, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If you prefer a hint of sweetness, add brown sugar. Toss well until all fries are evenly coated with the mixture.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Preheating ensures the fries cook evenly and become nice and crispy.

          Air Fry the Sweet Potato Fries: Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to air fry in multiple batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
