Ingredients

20 jumbo pasta shells

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Cheese Filling: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Shells: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take each shell and carefully fill it with the cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag. Place the stuffed shells in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Add the Sauce: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, making sure to cover them well. Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top for that cheesy goodness.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for a touch of color before serving.
