1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice (optional)

Instructions
 

Prep the Ingredients: Start by washing and chopping the broccoli into bite-sized florets, and dice the chicken breasts. Mince the garlic and chop the onion.

    Cook the Pasta (Optional): If you choose to include pasta, cook it according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.

      Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the chicken to a plate.
