Ingredients

1 package (9 oz) frozen cheese ravioli

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

5 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions

Cook the Ravioli: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the ravioli according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.

Add Spinach: Add the chopped spinach to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, until the spinach is wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

Make the Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Let it simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes.

Incorporate Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using) to taste.

Combine Ravioli and Sauce: Gently fold the cooked ravioli into the creamy spinach sauce, ensuring that all the ravioli are well coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

Serve: Plate the creamy garlic spinach ravioli, garnishing with fresh basil leaves and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes for warmth (if desired). Enjoy!
