2 cups water

1 cup whole milk (or your preferred milk substitute)

2 black tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose black tea)

1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

2-4 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)

Pinch of salt

Optional: whipped cream or foamed milk for garnish, extra cinnamon for dusting

Boil the Water: In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

    Steep the Tea: Once boiling, remove from heat. Add in the tea bags (or loose tea in a tea infuser) and the cinnamon stick. Let steep for about 5 minutes for a stronger flavor.
