Ingredients

1 large cucumber, thinly sliced

1 medium lemon, thinly sliced

10-12 fresh mint leaves

1-2 tablespoons of chia seeds (optional)

8 cups of filtered water

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Start by thoroughly washing the cucumber and lemon under cool water to remove any dirt or pesticides.

Thinly slice the cucumber into rounds, and then slice the lemon into similar rounds.

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced cucumber, lemon, and mint leaves. If you are using chia seeds for added texture and health benefits, add them here as well.

Pour the filtered water over the cucumber, lemon, and mint mixture, making sure everything is submerged.

Stir gently to combine all the ingredients, allowing the flavors to mix.

Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours. For best results, let it infuse overnight to enhance the flavor.

When ready to serve, fill a glass with ice cubes (if desired) and pour the detox cucumber water over the ice.

Garnish with a few additional mint leaves or cucumber slices for an attractive presentation.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours (infusion) | Servings: 8 glasses
