2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced

1 medium red bell pepper, diced

1/2 small red onion, finely chopped

1-2 jalapeƱos, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Zest of 1 lime

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Optional: 1/2 avocado, diced (for a creamy twist)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, red bell pepper, finely chopped red onion, and jalapeƱos.

    Add the chopped fresh cilantro and mix gently to combine all the ingredients.

      Squeeze the juice of one lime over the salsa, and then add the lime zest for an extra burst of flavor.

        Season the salsa with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix everything well to ensure the flavors meld together.

          If adding, gently fold in the diced avocado at the end to maintain its shape.
