4 ripe bananas

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1/2 cup crushed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)

1 tablespoon sea salt or flaky salt (optional)

4 popsicle sticks or wooden skewers

Instructions
 

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick or wooden skewer into the cut end of each banana half, pushing it in about halfway.

    Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

      Coat the Bananas: Dip each banana pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. You can use a spoon to help cover all the sides if needed.

        Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, roll or sprinkle the banana pops with your choice of crushed nuts or shredded coconut. If using, lightly sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each coated pop for a touch of flavor.
