Frozen Mixed Berry Smoothie Cubes

Ingredients
  

2 cups mixed berries (frozen blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

1 banana (ripe)

1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added nutrition)

Instructions
 

In a blender, combine the frozen mixed berries, ripe banana, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and chia seeds (if using).

    Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This might take about 1-2 minutes, depending on your blender's power.

      Taste the smoothie mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.

        Pour the blended mixture into ice cube trays, filling each compartment almost to the top.

          Place the trays in the freezer and allow the cubes to freeze completely, which will take about 4-6 hours or overnight for best results.

            Once the smoothie cubes are frozen, pop them out of the trays and transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. Label it with the date and enjoy them within 3 months.

              To enjoy your smoothie cubes, simply blend a few (around 4-6 cubes) with an additional splash of almond milk or yogurt in the blender until smooth. Add more smoothness by adjusting the liquid to your desired consistency.
