Ingredients

3 medium ripe bananas

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

1/2 cup granola or chopped nuts (for coating)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half, creating a handle.

Make the Peanut Butter Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Coat the Bananas: Dip each banana half into the peanut butter mixture, using a spatula or spoon to ensure it’s evenly coated. Allow the excess mixture to drip off.

Add the Coating: Roll each coated banana in granola or chopped nuts, pressing gently to ensure they stick well.

Freeze the Pops: Place the coated banana pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely solid.

Optional Chocolate Drizzle: If desired, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. Once the banana pops are frozen, drizzle the melted chocolate over them. Return to the freezer for about 15 minutes to harden the chocolate.

Serve: Once the pops are completely frozen and the chocolate is set, remove from the freezer. Enjoy your Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Pops immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
