Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or your favorite flavored yogurt)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work well)

Pinch of salt

Optional: dark chocolate chips or dried fruits for added flavor

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas:

    - Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds (about 1/4 inch thick). Set aside.

      Create the Yogurt Mixture:

        - In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

          Make the Cinnamon Swirl:

            - In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon with a teaspoon of honey or yogurt from the main bowl to create a thick cinnamon paste.

              Layer the Ingredients:

                - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Start by spreading a thin layer of the yogurt mixture on the parchment.

                  - Add a layer of banana slices on top of the yogurt.

                    - Drizzle some of the cinnamon paste over the banana slices.

                      - Sprinkle chopped nuts and optional dark chocolate chips or dried fruits.

                        Repeat the Layers:

                          - Repeat the layering process until all the ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of yogurt on top. Make sure to drizzle any remaining cinnamon mixture over the last layer.

                            Freeze:

                              - Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 4-6 hours or until the yogurt is completely frozen.

                                Slice and Serve:

                                  - Once solid, remove the frozen yogurt block from the baking sheet and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes for easier cutting.

                                    - Slice into wedges or squares, and serve immediately. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
