Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (for topping)

A pinch of salt

Optional: crushed mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, peppermint extract (if using), and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips, ensuring that they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.

Line the Pan: Line an 8x8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Spread the Mixture: Pour the yogurt mixture into the lined baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Top it Off: Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips on top, pressing them gently into the yogurt mixture. If you have crushed mint leaves, scatter a few on top for added freshness.

Freeze: Place the baking dish in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4 hours or until firmly set.

Cut into Bars: Once frozen, lift the mixture out of the dish using the overhanging parchment paper. Place it on a cutting board, and use a sharp knife to cut it into bars.

Serve: Enjoy the frozen yogurt bars immediately or store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
