Ingredients

2 cups pretzel crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Whipped cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the pretzel crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a parchment-lined 9x9-inch square baking dish. Place in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.

Layer the Ingredients: After the crust has set, remove it from the freezer. Pour half of the yogurt mixture over the pretzel crust and spread it evenly. Next, layer the diced strawberries on top. Then pour the remaining yogurt mixture over the strawberries, smoothing it out to cover the fruit.

Freeze the Squares: Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.

Cut and Serve: Once fully frozen, remove from the freezer and allow it to sit for a few minutes to soften slightly for easier cutting. Cut into squares (about 16 pieces) and serve immediately. Top with whipped cream if desired.
