Ingredients

4 large ears of fresh corn, husked

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (plus more for garnish)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

A squeeze of fresh lemon juice (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you prefer boiling, bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Prepare the Corn: Husk the corn, removing all silk and silk threads. Rinse under cold water to clean.

Make the Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, half of the Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Coat the Corn: Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each ear of corn, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.

          Grill the Corn:

            - For Grilling: Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and tender.

              - For Boiling: Place the corn in the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender.

Finish with Cheese: Once the corn is cooked, remove it from the grill or pot. Immediately sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the hot corn so it melts slightly.

Serve: Transfer the corn to a serving platter. Drizzle with a little extra melted butter, if desired, top with chopped parsley, and squeeze fresh lemon juice over each ear for added brightness.

Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy the delightful flavors of garlic and Parmesan in every bite!
