Ingredients

4 cups water

3 black tea bags (or green tea for a lighter flavor)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1 large passionfruit, halved

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Ice cubes

Instructions

Boil Water: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea: Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer the tea.

Prepare Fruit Puree: While the tea is steeping, in a blender, combine the diced mango and the pulp of the passionfruit (scooped out) to create a smooth puree. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.

Sweeten the Tea: After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the honey (or agave syrup) while the tea is still warm. This ensures the sweetener dissolves completely.

Combine Tea and Fruit Puree: In a large pitcher, mix the sweetened tea with the fruit puree and add lime juice. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

Chill: Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the tea to chill.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled Mango Passionfruit Iced Tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Optionally, add a slice of lime or additional diced mango for an extra pop of color.

Enjoy: Sip on this refreshing and fruity iced tea perfect for hot summer days or anytime you crave a tropical escape!
