Ingredients

12 mini taco shells (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

1 jalapeño, finely chopped (seeds removed for milder flavor)

¼ cup green onions, chopped

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Salsa, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, chopped jalapeño, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and taco seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Fill the Taco Shells: Carefully spoon a generous amount of the cheese mixture into each mini taco shell, ensuring they are filled but not overflowing.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the filled taco shells upright in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet. Make sure they are snug against each other to help them stand.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling, and the taco shells are slightly crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with salsa on the side for dipping.
