Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked and shredded chicken (you can use rotisserie chicken)

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Olive oil spray

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into the individual triangles.

Fill the Dough: Taking one triangle at a time, spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of the triangle. Fold the corners over the filling and roll it up towards the point to form a bite-sized crescent.

Place on Baking Sheet: Place the filled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet seam-side down. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent bites are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
