Ingredients

2 ripe peaches, diced

1 large avocado, diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional for heat)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing the peaches and cherry tomatoes. Remove the pits from the peaches and avocados, and dice them into small, even pieces. Finely chop the red onion and cilantro.

Combine the Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the diced peaches, avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño (if using).

Add Flavor: Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture. This not only adds flavor but also helps prevent the avocado from browning.

Season: Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper over the salsa. Use a spatula to carefully fold all the ingredients together to ensure even distribution.

Taste and Adjust: Give the salsa a taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer more tang, add a bit more lime juice or salt.

Chill and Serve: Cover the salsa with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully. Serve with tortilla chips, on tacos, or as a unique topping for grilled meats.
