Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup fresh basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

12 mini slider buns

1 cup arugula or spinach for topping

1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (optional)

Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, basil pesto, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Form Patties: Shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of the slider buns. You should get around 12 patties.

Cook Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Assemble the Sliders: Once the chicken patties are cooked, place them on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with arugula or spinach, and if desired, add sun-dried tomatoes for an extra burst of flavor.

Add Top Buns: Place the top halves of the slider buns on each assembled slider. Optionally, drizzle with balsamic glaze for an added touch of sweetness and tang.

Bake: Arrange the sliders in a baking dish and cover with foil. Place them in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the buns are slightly toasted and warm.

Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, and let them cool for a minute. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces or enjoy on their own.
