Prepare the Rice: If you haven’t done so already, cook your jasmine rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, fluff with a fork and set aside.

Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.

Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.

Add Flavor: Once the shrimp are cooked through, add the lemon zest and juice to the skillet. Stir well to combine everything, allowing the flavors to meld for another minute.

Serve: Remove from heat. Fluff the cooked rice and divide it among serving plates. Top with the savory garlic butter shrimp, ensuring to spoon some of the delicious sauce over the rice. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy: Dig in and savor each flavorful bite of garlic butter shrimp atop the fluffy rice!
