Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust for spice level)

1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Use a wire rack to allow the wings to crisp up.

Make the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, minced ginger, garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large zip-top bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the wings, seal the bag (or cover the bowl), and toss to coat evenly. For best results, let them marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, but ideally overnight.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the wire rack above the foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

Glaze the Wings: Remove the wings from the oven and brush them generously with any remaining marinade. Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes for a beautiful glaze.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, take wings out of the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Enjoy!: Serve your spicy maple glazed chicken wings hot with your favorite dips like ranch or blue cheese, and enjoy!
