Ingredients

For the Sweet Potato Wedges:

2 large sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Ranch Dip:

½ cup sour cream

½ cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into evenly sized wedges (about 1 inch thick) to ensure they cook evenly.

Season the Wedges: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss the sweet potato wedges in the seasoning mixture until they are evenly coated.

Bake the Wedges: Spread the seasoned sweet potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Make the Ranch Dip: While the wedges are baking, prepare the ranch dip. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chopped chives (if using). Mix well until everything is fully combined and smooth.

Garnish and Serve: Once the sweet potato wedges are done baking, remove them from the oven. Transfer them to a serving platter, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot alongside the creamy ranch dip.
